|
"A well-orchestrated collage" is how the
jury described these offices for a post-production editing firm serving
advertising agencies world wide. The design incorporates the latest production
technology within an open plan that emphasizes a more home-like feel for
the hardworking, creative clients.
The office is infused with a translucent quality that
fosters interaction by exposing the activity within. This focus is most
apparent in the "great hall" adjacent to the reception area where
staff and clients meet in a comfortable setting. Moving away from this central
gathering place, sliding screens modulate visual and audio privacy as needed.
The jury also appreciated the deference to the existing structure and the
immaculate detailing of the interior architecture.
